I have much going on and yet not enough to keep my satisfied.
I earned a great trip to Budapest on a meeting which was wonderful.
I slept little, enjoyed the free luxuries and brought back lots of salami, a spring scarf and maybe a new friend.
Because spring is definitely here.
I can't stand still.
I want to be out all of the time.
I want to buy summerish things.
I want to go swimming.
This town is too small for my open heart.
We have no bridges.
We have no flowers.
We don't have Danube.
"you love this town, even if that doesn't mean true
you've been all over, and it's been all over you"
Now I get it, what they're talking about.
I managed to lose weight, I got down to 57.8 kg with the Kardashians and I gained it all back over two lonely weekends and a Hungarian eating fest.
However, I loved that dieting excercising lifestyle and I'm on it again and what the heck- may I lose and gain forever as long as I'm happy.
We walked so much in Budapest it was excitingly exhausting and the dinners were excellent opportunities for meeting fellow Urologists from abroad.
I loved the dinner in the Art museum- it was great.
When we came back the attending managed to pay me one of the best compliments in front of my Prof and the whole OR:
"If you want to walk around the whole world sleepless, Ellisa is the best company"
:)
"She never gets tired and never whines"
HA HA!
And has anyone noticed how the surgical nurses tend to be a bit frightening?
I think I may have been offered a position in their club.
One of the very strict ones saw me try to tame my long hair in the changing rooms and offered to give me a bandana.
One like hers.
All nurses wear beautiful cotton bandanas.
She said, she would ask the other nurse to make me one..
Like she makes for all of them.
See?
Now I will look like one of them
I think I'll be okay.
And I spent some alone time with my mentor talking about relationships and marriage.
Which was nice.
If some people are born to teach, he is one of them.
Easter is coming up and my godsister will be bak in town and I got new Hilfiger platforms so I am happy and I will end this post with a beautiful picture from Budap
"It's a smile, it's a kiss, it's a simple wine, it's summertime"
